I will be spending a long weekend in early May in NC about an hour west of Raleigh-Durham. I am wanting to talk to a couple winemaker vineyard owners about the region and the types of grapes that produce well... I would like to see if this would be a decent area to move to and start a commercial venture. Is there anyone one the forum that is in that area that would be willing to let me stop by and pick your brain or recommend a winery that would give me some advice?
