lol...i hear ya.....but i remember when i bought mine, 30 bucks was the price for a brand new 6 gal....lol...but then again, just like everything else, the price has gone up, and in MOST cases, the quality has gone down....lol....such is life, i suppose...(at least nowadays)...

If you're still buying - and I am - then you gotta pay what the going rate is. Last year, I bought 4 heifers at $625 each for the farm. This year, that's considered a STEAL.

well, i think, at least for the most part, as you already read, my glass collection is pretty much all set, although when i had 3 6 gal kits going, i did contemplate buying another 6...but i got by without it...i had the one extra 6 gal to filter into and then bottle from...luckily i just didn't have to do all the work from all 3 batches on the same days....lol...otherwise it would have been do 1, wash, rinse, resanitize, repeat....lol..

Oh not me. I have 9 bigguns now, want at least 20 when it is all done. Lately I buy used, so I wait around til I bump up on something. The allure of the ad is, they are new.

lol....would be nice if i had a purveyor of used glass on a regular basis.....yes....that would definitely be the way to go....lol..
