Off from work time to catch up on the wine duties. Racked the Carlos muscadine to stabilize and back sweeten. I went from a sg of 0.990 to 1.005 by adding 2#'s of sugar.

It has a beautiful golden color and a kind of sharp taste. I like the American House Toast oak I used in it.

Well the amount of displacement lent for about 3-4 more glasses. So I'm a sipping away and enjoying it. I'm sure it will be way better in a year.

I degassed the blackberry wine I started Mid May and topped it off with a quart of blackberry juice.

Thinking about starting another batch of blackberry today. There is still plenty time left today.

Ok, I prepped another 6 gallons of blackberry for yeasting tomorrow night. Can't forget the pectic tomorrow morning.

Vcasey I have friends in the Gainesville area. I almost moved there back in 2000. You'd have had a Tiger Fan amongst Gators...

LSU won tonight against Virginia, good game.....

We have a split household. Hubby is a FSU fan - everyone else is a Gator fan. Oldest son was very close to going to Florida, but decided he wanted to try and get through college with no loans, which meant still living at home and going to USF. He has 1 more year left and no loans, he is happy, we don't mind so it's all good.
