I hope everyone out there has a great Thanksgiving and wish you all clear roads and skies as you make your way to your destination. I'm glad we aren't going anywhere as travel right now is treacherous. Out less than one inch of snow has turned out to be over 6 inches so far with up to double that by the end of it in a few hours. Just what I want to do is clean up a foot of snow already. Yuck.:sn

After I meet with a client early this AM I will see if I can get the tractor started to clear out the 150 yards of drivway or so and then stay warm inside.A five year old Amarone Port should do the trick..............:dg

Now all you need to do is add a nice fire and a cumfy chair to the mix. Then you'll have something!.

It has just about stopped snowing and there is 12 inches of the heaviest, packiest snow ever. So far I have only got half the plowing done after 4 hours. I ran out of fuel, can't get it restarted after going to get fuel. I bled the lines, the battery has run dead, the charger won't boost it enough, my brother couldn't pull my truck forward even with his 4 wheel drive and I'm where I plowed. We just sit there and spin. Oh and the dog died. ...... Just kidding about that part. Every good country song needs a dead dog!

I'm about ready for that port. We may have to just wait 2 days for it to melt!

Everybody have a great Thanksgiving.

Rich what a bummer. You sure do me thankful though for the sunny afternoon we had here today even though it was cold. I hope you get out for tomorrow.

I called my brother to ask him to come back up and try to jump the tractor. I had bled the lines and tried to get it going for about 3 hours with no joy. I told him to bring either jumper cables or dynamite! For giggles I gave it one last whirl right after I hung up the phone. Thar she blows cap'n! I called him back up and said "Cancel the "dynomite" "! Then I spent another hour and a half finishing up plowing. I can get out and about again!:thg

Look at the bright side. The cold weather should kill off most of the bugs and the snow will give your grape vines a little moisture. Arne.
