Coming from Alberta where its a 2 hour drive to the airport, we quickly realised we would be able to see most of Nova Scotia in a day. Its 5 hours to drive from end to end. So in an effort to take in all we can we have decided to eat our way all around it. Instead of sites we will use restaurants as the destination and walk around from there.

Started ithings off in Truro. Hitting by he coast tomorrow.

This made me laugh.

Why are there Cokes and Pepsis in the photos above? Don't you know those are loaded with aspartame? AND they're not even fermented!!!

Coke is loaded with sugar. Diet coke is loaded with aspartame, but no reason to get stuck on details.

Reason # 1. Met the in laws for lunch, and they are not exciting to say the least. They snuck their Pepsi in.

#2. I drank like I was a teenager last night and I will be waiting for happy hour this evening. I'm too old, and too stupid to know better.

Arrived home this afternoon after a 10 day trip, visiting family & friends. The lawn looked like I expected -- it may not appear so, but the seed pods are 12+" tall. Got out the lawn tractor and expressed my dissatisfaction with their attempt at world domination.

I fought the lawn, and *I* won. At least until next week.

Domestic coke (US) has high fructose corn syrup. The imported stuff from Mexico has actual sugar and I think is better tasting.
