Couple of interesting unopened bottles I dug out from deep storage today while cleaning out junk. Dunno whether to drain them or put them up somewhere again. Not a gin man and the wine is past its prime but still has a kick.
These came from my Dad's estate. This one is from a 1963 Florida trip. Mom and Dad bought two of them in a box. I have had some from the other one, and it has turned very syrupy but still drinkable. ABV is 20%. Just the old label on eBay is $7.49.

This one is a 1970s bottle of gin with the paper State of Illinois tax seal still intact. I think it's funny that it says "In the Ancient Bottle" in the blue strip at bottom on the front. I have seen just the empty bottle without labels for $59.

Selling them may be worth the effort -- if nothing else, finding out how much someone will pay for either is interesting.

The gin will be fine. I'd sell that. Not sure what would be more fun - drinking them, or seeing what you could get for 'em.
I sold a 12 oz.box od Bell's stuffing mix on Ebay just before Thanksgiving for $34.75. It was in short supply this year. Not sure what would be more fun - drinking them, or seeing what you could get for 'em.
Take a good look ayt the photo. The speaker is said to be 60 inches in diameter. That's 5 feet. Now look at the man in the rear of the photo. The speaker is much taller than he is. Quite a shrimp to be muscling around 1800 lopsided, unbalanced lbs.

I worked for KLH as an audio engineer designer back in the 70's. Then for Klipsch. About a year each. I could not stand the cold in Mass. Moved to Hope and got a raise. Then to Houston and started my own company with a friend. We designed some speakers, but that quickly morphed into an Audio company that custom modified high-end components: McIntosh. Mark Levinson, etc. We would take a good design and make it better. You're behind... Scroll back a ways to see my earlier post. Unless you just want to argue. In that case, BRING IT! The two men are OBVIOUSLY height-challenged!
My neighbor found these tracks behind his house. I suspect they're bear, but where are the toes? The boot in the picture is a size 10 1/2 for reference. Any ideas???

Looks like the front pad of a bear. The snow can make them kinda indistinct but I think I can see toes in there. My neighbor found these tracks behind his house. I suspect they're bear, but where are the toes? The boot in the picture is a size 10 1/2 for reference. Any ideas???
