We eat the deer backstraps and tenderloins whole. Everything else is sausage. On the other hand, there's lots of steaks and roasts from the cow elk I got last fall.Different strokes for different folks. I don't eat ANY sausage, so it doesn't matter where it comes from. I prefer to eat venison as whole cuts. By making a lil joke with pix of my delicious steaks, I am not suggesting you shouldn't do you.
