I labeled the Port (which we bottled Sunday) and the Crimson Trio (Merlot dominant blend) this morning. I need to finish the Rob Roy Red (100% Cabernet Franc) and all of the Chianti (Sangiovese juice fermented with Bordeaux pomace), hopefully this week.

All of the 2023 production is bottled, and at least some of each batch is labeled.

We make enough different wines that it can be difficult to find things in the racks, so we use a wide variety of capsule colors, and vary the background image to fit the wine inside.

Meads and Limoncello get yellow capsules. Whites (and this year the Cabearnet, for obvious reasons) get white, and everything else is intended to coordinate with the label colors.

My sister made this up for me, and I can print larger runs with a font of my handwriting. The background is supposed to look like wrinkled butcher paper as a homage to my grandfather from whom I inherited grapevines and part of the tradition of winemaking. He worked as a butcher for many many years. I would love to see a cris cross of red and white string, to make it more apparent. Maybe in a future version.
