Ok I racked the White Zin from Primary and I noticed that the bubbles coming up the side of the bottle ..looks like if you cracked open a 2 liter of soda ..This is the first kit that I really noticed this...Is this normal ? The air lock is very active.. The SG when I racked was 1.010 just like it was supposed to be according to directions??

Yeah, this is quite normal. The stirring up of the wine during racking warms the wine a littleand introduction of a little oxygen can stimulate the yeast. At an SG of 1.010 you still have fermentation.

I normally let my primary sit on the tile flood during fermentation but when I rack to glass I set them on the counter. The ambient air temperatures are warmer at the level of the counter than the floor so the temp increase seems to increase the fermentation as well.

I have noticed that when set the primary on the counter instead of the floor, my wine reached an SG of 1.010 two days earlier on average. If I ferment on the counter it is normally five days to racking to glass. If on the floor, 7-8 days to racking.

My primary is on the counter and so is the carboy I think the cellar room temp on avg is about 63-65 all year round so it is a little colder and my primary takes a little longer than average..The good thing is there are no big swings in temp..
