Just stabilized and cleared a batch of the RJS Petit Sirah at .997...maybe just a hair under. First time around for me with this variety. Eager to see how it turns out. Anybody out there with some experience on this one?

Which exact kit is this? I have not made it but if its an upper level kit I can almost guaranty you will be happy. I make EP's and Winery Series and have nit been dissapointed yet.

According to the RJS online catalog, the only Petit Sirah that they make is a Grand Cru.

I think your right Steve.

I made the MM AJ Petit Syrah last year. I added a CC Syrah grape pack and it spent several months in one of my Vadai barrels. It tasted fantastic at bottling but I have not tried even a split yet. Perhaps this Fall/early Winter for sure.

Y'all beat me to the punch. Yes, it is the Grand Cru from RJS. Looking forward to it being done. sva
