We don't get as much snow in Colorado Springs as most people might think. We have had a pretty cold winter this year, but we haven't had but three or four snows, most less than 4 inches. That's pretty typical of our snows. Of course our biggest snows usually come in March and April, when the warmer air seems to breed those great big snow flakes.
Yes, every ten years or so we have gotten a 36 incher, but that is rare. Colorado Springs is at the base of the mountains. Now if you go about 10 miles due west, you are IN the mountains. There, you better really like the snow!
By the way, your place is nothing but gorgeous! 150 yards from the house... hm-m-m-m-m, one could sneak across the fence and into your pool and you wouldn't even know it... what did you say is your address?
