Thank you for that fascinating information. I've been using the Vinbrite filter, which would obviously not retain as much sulfite as your whole-house filter. Even so, I'm guessing that would about about 5 ppm.

Mike, you mentioned using a 10% K-meta solution for sanitizing. Why so high? The normal 3 TB/Gal solution is only about 1.25%.

I use 50gm K-Meta dissolved in 1 gallon H2O what ever that works out to.

50g/4000ml = 1.25%
