Our cats have taken a liking to our fall arrangements. Especially the one Kathy made for her dining room. I think they just like mugging for the camera

Nice Cats Waldo.

It reminds me of last evening before dinner. Our big kitten we call "Hogzilla" (you guess why) was in our master bathroom, drinking out of the toilet. I chased him out and closed the door. By the time I got out of the bedroom and headed towars the kitchen, there he was in the bath next to the living room- drinking out of that toilet. Cindy had gone to pick up one of the boys from the mall before dinner after setting the dinner table, so I sat down to watch the news. A couple miniutes later I heard silverware clinking on a plate. I went out to investigate and there wa the cat walking around the table. I chased the cat off and replaced the plate where tha cat had been. I told Cindy about it when she shortly got home. I don't know why, but she reset the whole table!

We use to go to a friends house and their large German Shepard had run of the house....You'd heard Thump, Thump...then.... lap lap lap...Bang....The thumping was him lifting the lid with is nose, the lapping [well, you know] the bang was him 'closing' the lid....Then he's come around with a 'wet nose'...

Guess Hogzilla needs to learn to lift and replace the lid himself.....

It is funny you mention the thump, thump, thump. The cat does that also when he runs - he is the fatest kitten you have ever seen. He eats everything under the sun and I think he tried to eat that one time! When he was "small" the other cats would tolerate him pushing them away to eat and so did the dog. Now their survival instinct is kicking in. The dog tries to eat the cat when he tries to get her food and the other cats hiss and growl so they can get some food. The kitten looks ready to have a litter of kittens itself and sways back and forth when it walks (we know it isn't pregnant, he is a male).

Can't remember if I ever posted this picture before or not.It is several years old now.Anyway, .This is "Sparky" and she taught herself to use the potty. She mostly stays outside but when she does come in she still uses the toilet.

the cat pics! Our cats are pretty good about staying down from restricted surfaces. Ours don't feel the toilet is a drinking spot, but they do view it as a launching pad to get up to the sink in the bathroom. If they think you're heading to the bathroom, they will try to get in there before the door shuts. Run, hit the toilet lid, onto the sink and whine for fresh water. It's difficult to get all our guests to shut the lid so the cats don't drop in, expecting a closed lid!

Waldo,

Your cats are just beautiful. They are so special. I love my Nancy!!!

Very festive decorating too. Kathy is very creative!!

She is a beauty Ramona and yes, Kathy is very creative when it comes to making arrangements, decorations etc.

NW,

Yes she is a Russian Blue. She was given to us last Thanksgiving when we were in Oklahoma so have had her almost a year. Funny thing. The other evening a cat came in the house, just like Nancy and prowled around a while....thought it was her at first buthe must belong to a neighbor. He has stopped by twice then disappeared. They are such beautiful cats with a great disposition. I would like to have a kitten of the same breed to keep her company. She doesn't take to well of adult cats in her territory.
