bottled and tasted
So I bottled this batch of Australian Riverland Reserve one week ago. My curiosity got the better of me, and I opened a bottle tonight to go with dinner (stir-fry pork). I'm very happy, indeed. I'm not good at describing how wine tastes, so forgive my casting about for the right words. In any case, it's a white, of course, that does not have as much tang or tartness as, say, the pinot grigio I had a few days ago. The Australian Riverland Reserve's tones are more subtle and smooth (but not bland), coming to the senses with a bit of a delay rather than grabbing the tastebuds right away. Very pleasant and understated fruitiness. Will I make it again? Probably the better question would be: when will I make it again?
