Well, Bert and I finally used the filter he bought me for my birthday back in January. What can I say, we've been busy!
We filtered Ms. Spain's Recipe Pineapple Wine. Martina, thanks so much for your pictoral tutorial! It was helpful to be able to read and see before doing. We even read the instructions that came with the filter. But your tutorial really gave us much more confidence.
We also started an Island Mist Blackberry Cabernet. After all the talk in the forum of the Green Apple I was shocked to see the purple instead of green when I opened the bag today! I knew what I was opening, but still didn't get it right.
Bert insisted on kicking it up a notch (Bam!) and added simple syrup to it. Claims it will keep longer, but I'm sure it will be gone by the end of summer any way!
But some days the PWP does let Poor Bert have his way.
