looks like they are both used as a campden tablet

Campden tablets can be either potassium or Sodium metabisulphite. Eventually, you buy a scale and powdered potassium metabisulphite and save bunches of cash.

@tumbleinn , both are fine for sanitizing, don’t put the sodium meta into your wine, it is said to give wine an unpleasant taste.
