I got hit pretty hard with 23" Nothing like working a full day and coming home to not even being able to get in your driveway!! The first 7' of my driveway was about 5' high and really gave my snowblower a workout not to mention me! Im so glad my snowblower broke down last storm and not this one!!! It was just the pull rope but I had nothing around to fix it.

When I lived in Wisconsin, my dinky little snow blower had an electric start. You had to plug it into an outlet, but it beat the heck outta yankin' the darned cord 100 times!

Dan, thats a good one! The electric start was an option on mine but I chose to not have it as I dont have a garage, its out in y shed about 150' from my house and I didnt wnt to have a cord or a whole bunchof cords just to start my snowblower probably to mulch it up trying to get to my driveway.

Yeah - i got hit as well :) We had a woping 1.7".

Here is the kicker - they closed the schools down for 2 days :)

About 4" here in Cincinnati. Schools closed yesterday and 2 hr delay today. We usually get lucky and don't get heavy snows. Maybe 4-6" at a time then the occasional 9-12.

Supposed to get another 4" on saturday and possibly more on Tuesday. We already had 7" got some cool looking paths through the yard. Pretty soon Ill be able to enclose the roof but Ill have to leave vent holse for the snow blower exhaust! hehehe

we are supposed to get more too this weekend and next week. Probably the same storm. We're fast approaching snow accumulation in the back yard that our dog hates. He is a dachshund and when the snow get deep he makes 5 tracks in the snow. The middle one is continuous. Poor guy! ;)

We got about 3 inches here in West Virginia. It was just enough to cause some problems, but the thing to worry about now is the wind and drifts.

My wife was in Huntington when it came through. She didn't have to be there until Tuesday so with the snow coming she got there a day early. Well the others who were helping her teach the class didn't think ahead and had their flights cancelled. She rescheduled the class and drove home.

it's clear now but when i was driving back from college yesterday i had half mile visability.

We got ice here in Central Alabama, but that shut us down. Today was the first day that schools weren't delayed for my kids. We still have people north of here that are snowed/iced in though.
