I've had a small wall section knocked down in the loft to create a storage space. The idea was to store my wine in there along with other alcoholic spirit bottles. The storage space is enclosed and will have a door. It is a square of 4.5 feet x 4.5 feet with a downward sloping roof, not very high.
I had originally planned to put some wine racks inside for my wine bottles but now thinking of putting a wine cooler in there as the storage will get hot in the summer since it's in the loft. I was leaning towards an integrated one as those are designed for enclosed spaces. Unfortunately, there is no ventilation
but I could put some ventilation grills in the door and wanted the community's thoughts on whether that would suffice to manage any heat generated by the wine cooler?
The door is yet to be installed so I can ask the carpenter to fix a ventilation grill in it.
