Winemaking in the UK

I am new to your site, but have been making wine for 6 years now, from my home winery in California. I typically pick professionally grown grapes and do up to 3 tons per year. I now live in London and want to do the same here. Ideally, I would source grapes from nearby France and make the wine here in London. I am seeking sources of grapes in 1 ton quantities. Any place you can point me to?

While this is an excellent site, there is not a lot of UK representation.

There is a UK based forum called Wines at Home that sponsors an event called Grapefest every year which involves fresh grapes, but I think your volumes are greater than the typical participant.

Just out of interest, how much wine does a ton of grapes typically make?
