Black Currant started

I got my Black currant bushes yesterday from St. Lawrence Nurseries. I got 10 Black Consort and 5 Titania. They are all about 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall with good hearty root systems and a stem diameter the size of a pencil(except for a couple a little smaller). I guess I will have to heel them in for a little while. The spot where I am going to plant them has water and snow on it. I cant wait too long, the buds are beginning to open a little.


MMMMmmmmmm I can smell and taste them already(and it will be a couple years before I get any)!

Those sound like nice plants....now I am wishing I would have ordered from them again...but will wait and see how the ones from Jung's look...They never ship to this zone till early May

...and I am so worried they will be out of stock by the time they fill my order.

They said they try not to do that.
