I drink wine everyday with dinner and before I started brewing I used to drink Carlo Rossi Sweet red. Now I only drink my own stuff, but when I have company who aren't adventurous to drink homebrew I still serve it. I bought a jug and siphoned it into the same bottles I use for my own stuff so I could serve it by the bottle. they were fine for a month but over the last month 3 out of 4 bottles have shot their corks and made a mess on my basement floor. None of the stuff I brewed have done this even after several months. Any idea why this would happen with store bought wine? I could see if it was my stuff and I hadn't stopped the fermentation enough.
