I used to use Sun Cal concentrates but now I don't seem to be able to find any. Does anyone know if they are still in business? It came in 46 oz cans and required the addition of some acid blend and yeast nut.

Since George doesn't carry this line I will give you a link, but in no way endorse that other company. I find their products high priced, but here it is anyway.

The other company is way over priced in my opinion! I do like that they carry distiller's yeast though. Although I would never endorse distilling at home as that is very bad in the eyes of big brother do to the fact that distilling at home can't be taxed

I asked George this question a couple of months ago. I have a poor memory, but I believe he told me that the manufacturer changed its shippping practices, making it no longer feasible to carry the line. For just a few dollars more, you can buy a VR kit that is of much better quality. I bought a VR Zinfandel last month from George that was on sale for about $50. However, I did make several batches of Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc from Sun-Cal Concentrates several years ago that turned out well. Edited by: dfwwino
