Hi all,
I know that yeast should be stored in the fridge and has an expiration date but I believe it was Rocky who mentioned in one thread about keeping the potassium sorbate in the fridge also.
Which chemicals or additives are better off refrigerated :??

Thank You,
corinth

yeast and sorbate are the only two that I keep either in the frig or freezer

I keep them all in the fridge, I thought they lasted longer that way?

Isn't a fridge more likely to have lots of moisture? I would think that the only chemicals you want to store cool or cold or frozen are those that require cold temperatures. And I tend to do what my LHBS does. If they store something in a fridge, then I will keep it in my fridge and if they store something at room temperature then I will store it in a similar environment.

I have never noticed any moisture but I keep them sealed in the container they come in and then the containers are in a large sealed tupperware container
