Potassium metabisulfite storage

I just mixed up a gallon of Potassium metabisulfite for equipment sanitation. I just used the very last of my Potassium metabisulfite and have no other sanitizing chemicals and was wondering if this mixture can be reused till safely till i can get more.
I searched the site and saw some ppl saying it will last for a month or more.

Yes - put it in a sealed container - prefer glass container

Yes I prefer glass also but was told it doesn't have to be glass
