Press question

Found a 10 gallon ratchet press for $200, I may be able to get him down a little. Looks a little rough, maybe needs a board or two replaced, but it is in working order. I'm thinking $200 is a fair price as I can clean it up & replace a couple boards. I didn't really look at it closely I just noticed it & mentioned I may be interested if he would sell a few weeks later he called back & told me $200.

I've been using a cider press for the last couple years & this would be an upgrade.

Seem like a fair price?

It was a Saturday afternoon, and I had to press out (and in) a wheel bearing. I couldn't find a shop open to do it, so I bought a 12 ton press for $100 (frequent 20% off coupons) from the local Harbor Freight.

I saw the threads about using 2 6-gallon pails to press out grapes. I have not tried doing it yet.
