Sorry if this has been covered before but I haven't been able to find it... is anyone reusing easy clean? If so how long do you keep it for and how do you know when it is no longer effective? Thanks for your help, I've been making a batch "day of" but discarding it once the day is done.

For me the answer to your question is sometimes. I clean everything after I do my work and don't keep the Easy Clean I use because it's dirty. Any left over (unused) Easy Clean I keep. Then, as I begin my new work any Easy Clean I use I keep because the equipment is already clean and I'm just going over it. You can tell if it's OK because it shakes up and everything gets slippery.

I use gallon jugs of bottled water in primary and keep some jugs to hold the Easy Clean I make. It certainly lasts a month or two.

I agree with Tony, Keep it until it gets dirty. When it seems like things that you are trying to clean actually get dirtier, change it. Mixed un-used or lightly used it will last months.
When cleaning bottles, I'll put them in the old for some soaking then move them over to a fresh bucket.
